SPOT on Web "Easy Set Up" Process
A simple and easy to use communication system to convey all you need and want in your website to us, so we can make sure the process is "as easy as possible for you" and make your website as close as possible to what you expect. We will build and post your website LIVE (for a week or so) on the web for you to view at a temporary location, before you need to make your payment to SPOT On Web. Once you pay for the website, we will make any final adjustments and transfer it to your Domain or SubDomain.

Browser
A browser is a software program that allows you to view and interact with various kinds of Internet resources available on the World Wide Web.

Domain Name
The domain name is the unique name that identifies an Internet site. The Internet is made up of hundreds of thousands of computers and networks, all with their own domain name or unique address. Domain names always have two or more parts separated by dots. A given server may have more than one domain name, but a given domain name points to only one server.

Sub-domain
A top-level domain may be broken into partitions or sub-domains. For example, the top-level domain www.spotonweb.com.au could have a sub-domain of 'puzzellwelding' in www.puzzellwelding.spotonweb.com.au

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
FTP is the most common way of transferring the files from one computer to another across a network (including the Internet). 

Bandwidth
A measure for the speed (amount of data) you can send through an Internet connection. The more bandwidth, the faster the connection.

Cookie
Information from a web server, stored on your computer by your web browser. The purpose of a cookie is to provide information about your visit to the website for use by the server during a later visit.
